Take time to remember the good things that have happened in life and also to see where the difficult times have led you. It is amazing how what has happened in the past prepares us for the future. Jim, my husband has gone through some difficult health challenges during the past two years. My greatest prayer has been, "LORD, make me strong and keep me strong to take care of him and fulfill my purpose. He is doing that. It takes time with Him to allow the blessings to download into me, but the time is well spent. I have written three books which have a connection with life experiences. The theme running through each is to prepare for the things we are afraid of and will take the fear out of the future. They may never happen and time will have been spent worrying for nothing. I refuse to let anxiety and worry over things that have not happened rob me of the peace that GOD has provided for me. Whatever comes at us, if we take it to Him in praise and thanksgiving with anticipation and acknowledgement that His words and promises are true, we are in a win, win situation.
Pain can draw us into a closer relationship with Him, if we choose to let it. We may have to work at finding time for that place of blessed peace, but it is there. He is waiting for us to make time to spend with Him...5 to 10 minutes a day at first will get us in touch in a greater way. So many times we run to Him, fling a request at Him and run out again before we have had a one on one exchange. Take time to connect. Blessings to all in this Holy Season of Christmas.

Creative Imagination
Have you ever wondered how little children come up with such unusual things in their imaginations? Creative imagery is a gift. It can be a creative gift we were endowed with at birth. However, when we were so amazingly put together with our DNA makeup, is it not possible that GOD intended us to use our maturing ability to envision a picture of the future as caution and preparation or as a plan for something that is not a reality yet, to serve His purpose?
In Joel 2:28 and Acts 2:17 KJV/NET "And it shall come to pass in the last days," says GOD, "that I will pour out My Spirit upon all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions and your old men shall dream dreams..."
There is more in reference to this writing, but for now we leave it at that. This is obviously related to what just happened in the upper room when the Holy Spirit fell upon all who were there. Why do we as the church at large seem to glide by this phenomenal bit of information? In the 60's a great multitude of people entered the Charismatic movement. Although the movement has not died as some may think, it has grown away from the public eye. I do not know where I heard it, but someone asked, "Why do you think there is less of the prophetic and visionary things going now?" "Some supposedly knowledgeable person answered, "Because there is more diagnostics and anti-psychotic medications being administered now." What? Is it now that society now considers that everyone who operates in the prophetic and visual imagery is psychologically unstable and needs medical treatment? Granted there are some confused souls, for lack of ability to connect with the Author of Truth, who need therapy and guidance. Yet many are diagnosed with conditions that may not be authentic for lack of knowledge. More later.
